Studio III is a purpose built control room for recording, mixing, editing and all steps of sound processing. It is based around a Midas XL3 mixing console, a Lyrec TR533 24-track tape recorder and an array of vintage and contemporary outboard components. The studio can be operated fully analogue, foregoing the use of computers entirely.

We are part of The Laundry Rooms, a studio facility with 5 control rooms, a live room and separate recording booths. The premises are situated in a set of characteristic Victorian buildings in a historic Sheffield courtyard. The studio has a warm and friendly atmosphere and provides an ideal environment for solo artists, music ensembles or bands who wish to work with analogue technology, with the option to enjoy the benefits of recording and mixing to analogue tape.
